GEX-Metrix (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates gexmetrix.com, a free options analytics dashboard. Contact: [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

• Account data (registered users): email address, subscription tier, registration date.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time on site, referring URL, device type. Collected via Google Analytics.
• Cookie data: see Section 4 below.
• We do not collect financial data, payment details, or personally sensitive information beyond email.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract: processing your email to provide your account and subscription.
• Legitimate interest: site security, fraud prevention, basic analytics for service improvement.
• Consent: advertising cookies and personalised analytics — only after you click “Accept All Cookies” on the consent banner.

4. Cookies & Tracking

• Google LLC — analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (AdSense / DoubleClick). Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DDoS protection, and serverless infrastructure. Acts as a data processor.
• Law enforcement if required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of closure.
• Analytics data: retained for 13 months in Google Analytics (standard setting).
• Options market data: retained per our R2 storage policy (max 31 days of snapshots).

9. Your Rights (EU / EEA — GDPR)

You have the right to: access, rectify, erase (“right to be forgotten”), restrict, port your data, and to object to processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings panel.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

5. Intellectual Property

Dashboard design, code, and original analytical methodologies are the property of GEX-Metrix. Market data remains the property of CBOE Global Markets. You may not scrape, redistribute, or commercialise our data or interface without written permission.

6. Subscriptions

Plus ($19/mo) and Pro ($49/mo) tiers are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the operator’s domicile.

What Is GEX-Metrix?

GEX-Metrix is an options analytics dashboard with free and paid sections that displays derived calculations from options data for major US equity indices and individual underlyings. It estimates dealer positioning metrics derived from options open interest and volume.

What We Calculate

• Gamma Exposure (GEX) — the rate of change of delta per 1% move in the underlying. Shows where market makers must buy/sell to stay delta-neutral.
• Zero Gamma Level — the price where total net gamma exposure crosses zero (using a Hybrid Gaussian convolution method).
• Delta Exposure (Plus) — directional market-maker exposure across strikes.
• Vanna & Charm (Pro) — sensitivity of delta to volatility and time, respectively.
• Max Pain — the price at which options buyers collectively lose the most value at expiration.
• Open Interest & Volume — breakdown by call/put and strike.
